Rays Rest Reserve is off the East Coast Road, close to 4 km south on the Kaiaua township and is adjacent towards the Firth of Thames. Camping is restricted to self-contained vehicles holding and displaying current certification. Visitors could remain for up to two nights, and electricity isn't out there.
